The microscope came
equipped with one of originally two eyepieces, three
objectives numbered 0, 4, and 7, two glass
compensator plates, the quartz wedge mounted on glass,
a box of blank slides, and an interesting small set of
prepared slides marked "R. Von Huene-Pasadena Cal"
containing multiple specimens of thin sections of
single crystals cut at a defined angle. {The slides are
of later vintage than the microscope.}
