This Zeiss Unkulare Fernrohrlupe or Monocular Telescopic Magnifier can be used as a monocular and also as a magnifier or microscope. This particular example is supplied with six accessories lenses that allow different magnifications and focal distances. For use, the instrument was supplied with a wood handle. For higher power microscopic work, it could be used with a stand as shown on this page and here. Additional accessories were offered for this instrument. A binocular version was also available.
