This microscope is most likely of English manufacture. It is permanently attached to the inside of the case and folds down within the case for storage. There are three objectives which are mounted on arms that can swivel in and out of the optical path. They can be used individually or in combinations to vary the magnification. Focusing is achieved by rack and pinion movement of the bar holding the lenses.
